  • Hi!

Thank you Surendra and the team. Our recent trip to Nepal was very well organised by Firante Treks and Expeditions. The planning process was very efficient with good email communications and safe transfer of funds, and rapid confirmation that they had been received. The trek was for 18 days and well organised, and at all times we felt that our safety and comfort was paramount. The inevitable illnesses, cuts and blisters were dealt with very professionally. I would certainly recommend Firante Treks to anyone trekking in Nepal & Tibet.

  • Namaste Pradhu,
This is Helga from the Wolfgang-group. You are so nice! This is very kind of you. Well, the group really was happy. You and the cooking staff, service men and the boys have been wonderful ambassadors for Firante Treks: No moods, no bad temper, always helpful and watchful. You all made our trekking to Mt. Kailash a success. Surendra really should know what good crew he has provided. It is really true: This trekking was a memorable one! I am sure, no one of us will forget it.

  • Duration: 21

The trek commences with an early flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the heart of the Khumbu Region. The rest of the day is an easy one of around three hours to our first overnight stay at Phakding.
We head north initially upward the Dudh Kosi valley to Namche Bazaar, the major trading hub of the region. From Namche the trail follows the Imja Khola and on route there are some spectacular views of the Khumbu Himal, Thamserku and Kantega with Amadablam in the distance. Dominating the skyline ahead are Everest and Lhotse.
The trail ascends and climbs gradually up the Imja Khola and eventually emerging above the tree line before Dingboche. Dingboche to Kalapatthar takes a further two days via the Everest glacier for a truly "hands on" experience of Mt. Everest, Nuptse and Lhotse which tower above.
It takes further five days retracing to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu. An attainable trek for anyone who is reasonably fit, with the itinerary set to minimize any effects of altitude.
